Does any1 recipe cooked a few weeks ago on better homes and gardens was a fried chicken with mustard?
I Can not find this recipe anywhere and do not know this magazine issue, it would be in. I know that the lady did the chicken into small pieces and covered with a mustard mixture and then fried, then he went into the oven, if I remember correctly. Please if anyone knows what im talking about I want heard.
Mustard Crisp Chicken Preparation: 15 min. Cooking time: 40 min. Ingredients 1 / 2 cup Dijon style mustard 1 tablespoon fresh thyme chopped or 1 tsp teaspoon dried thyme, crushed 1 tablespoon water 1 / 2 tablespoon chopped garlic clove or a bottle garlic, minced 1 / 4 4 / teaspoon pepper 1 teaspoon paprika 1 / 8 c. teaspoon ground cinnamon 2 cups crumb bread or 1-1/4 cups fine bread crumbs 2-1/2 pounds chicken meat, skin removed 2 tablespoons margarine or butter, melted Directions 1. In a bowl Mix the mustard, thyme, water, garlic, pepper, paprika and cinnamon. In another bowl or plastic bag of bread crumbs instead. Coat the chicken mustard mixture, then stir in the breadcrumbs. Arrange chicken in 15x10x1-inch oven pan so pieces do not touch. 2. Cover the pan with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or up to 24 hours. 3. Just before serving, sprinkle the chicken with margarine or butter. Bake chicken, uncovered, in a 375 degrees F for 40-50 minutes or until crisp tender and not pink. Do not turn. Makes 6 servings.
