food preparation in the bible

How come the Jewish have dietary laws about food preparation, but other religions don’t?
My kings James Bible says the same thing as the Torah.
I know about the Muslims already and Hindus
It’s part of the rules their G-d gave them.
Obviously other gods don’t have the same requirements.
But a lot of them make sense when you think about the diseases that happen in the desert without refrigeration.
